The library loans books to all students on campus, undergraduate or graduate students. Sometimes people confuse the words loan and rent. Loans of books are free. Book rentals are a service through the CSUN Campus Bookstore and there is a charge for using a book, just like when you rent a car for a short period of time.
If you are a student, use the Affordable Learning $olutions form and the library will tell your professor about course reserves and other options to lower the cost of course materials.
