Device Loaner Program laptops, tablets, hotspots, headsets, and webcams are available for semester-long loans. CSUN students can make a device request through the Portal and schedule an appointment, then pick up their device from the LTS desk on the main floor of the library.

Devices available for semester long check out:

  • Windows 10 Laptop
      • Lenovo ThinkBook 15”
      • Intel Core i5 Processor
      • 8 GB RAM
      • 250 GB Hard Drive
  • Webcam
  • Hotspot
  • Headset
  • iPad

Pickup Appointments

  • Log into the Portal.
  • From the Student Services dropdown menu, select Student Forms.
  • Select the Device Loaner Request link.

After requesting a device through the Portal, students must create a pickup appointment through QLess to secure a timeslot to pick up your device(s) at the Library Technology Services Desk and complete the device request. Please note that only one appointment is needed if you have multiple device requests to pick up. Those without an appointment will be turned away.

Library Tech Accessory Checkout (3-Hour)

The LTS desk also makes available a variety of technology accessories such as chargers, adapters, headphones, webcams, graphing calculators, and more. Accessories are available for 3-hour checkout to current students, faculty, and staff during service desk operating hours and can be used onsite during your time in the Library. Learn more about checking out Library tech accessories.
