You can access our databases while on campus (Visitor Information and Library Services Membership Benefit), but off-campus is limited to current students, faculty and staff.

You can access article databases from the Los Angeles Public Library and sign-up for a library e-card while their physical branches are closed. https://www.lapl.org/about-lapl/contact-us/e-card/e-card-registration

  1. It would be helpful for alumni to have access to the research resources the Library offers. Is there any way your current policy may change to allow this?

  2. Unfortunately, our licensing agreements do not allow us to offer access to online databases from off campus to alumni. Los Angeles Public Library does also offer a wide array of online databases that anyone with an LAPL library card can access.
