Q. How long can I check a book out for?

CSUN students (undergraduate and graduate) can check out items for 16 weeks, and CSUN faculty and staff can check out items for one year. 

Reference items from the Learning Commons, and items in Special Collections, cannot be checked out and must be used in the library only.

Items that are not books (scores, kits, videos, etc.) have different check out periods.
